SAIC Tower III

Building Area 288,315 SF
Location 1710 SAIC Drive, McLean, VA
The master plan program for SAIC’s McLean Campus in Virginia includes the development of three adjacent properties into 1,800,000 total square feet of space over the next 5-7 years. Phase one completed in 1999 includes a new office building and connection to two existing office towers. The work includes an atrium reception space, a multi-purpose conference center, an employee cafeteria, a connector passageway linking the atrium to an existing parking structure, and three levels of underground parking. The requirement for the building was at a time when the region is undergoing unprecedented growth as a result of a strong economy and increasing demand for hightech jobs and services. The new building and associated facilities provide a state-of-the-art facility for its user groups and symbolize SAIC’s commitment to attract new and retain existing employees in a highly competitive job market.
